Position Details

Victorian Health Building Authority

The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional, and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Our priority is to provide innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions that will ensure our health system meets the needs of all Victorians now and into the future.

The Position

The Project Manager's role is to plan and manage capital projects which include managing client relationships, consultant and contractor procurement, project budget and delivery, project cashflow and forecasting, monitoring and performance reporting. The key stakeholders are capital health project clients, such as hospitals and health services, consultants and contractor as well as the health community at large across one or more Projects.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Project Management and accountability for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters. 
  • Project planning, managing client relationships, engagement and management of consultants and contractors, project budget & delivery and performance reporting.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent Project Magement skills and experience in a complex capital infrastructure or similar setting.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills with a profficient written and verbal communication.
