- Salary range: $98,902 - $123,624 (pro rata) + super + salary packaging

About the role
Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking for a seasoned Operations Manager to support the efficient and delivery of Youth Crime services across Victoria. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will manage workforce planning and rostering, driving service improvements.
Your role will involve coordinating Youth Crime operations and managing key projects, aligning them with VLA's strategic goals, to better meet the legal needs of clients and community, and improve outcomes for children and young people through a coordinated and holistic service approach.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office, on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- A strong background in coordinating both operational and strategic initiatives, ideally within a legal or similarly complex environment.
- The ability to analyse complex datasets and derive actionable insights to solve problems and improve service delivery.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating administrative and support services, particularly within a legal practice or related field.
- A deep understanding of social justice issues, with a demonstrated commitment to supporting First Nations people and communities within the justice system.
