  • Full time ongoing role (part-time application considered)
  • Salary range: $123,625-$157,340 plus super plus salary packaging
  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model

About the role
In this role you will manage the ongoing development and improvement of VLA's website. You will successfully deliver new functionality in accordance with roadmaps, timeframes and budgets, managing external agencies and suppliers to deliver various parts of the websites. Additionally, identify user and organisational needs to implement new systems, addressing changing client behaviour, including increasing use of smartphones and digital services (web, social media, apps).

This role will require you to work collaboratively and provide advice to the Associate Director and other teams within Communications, Engagement and Legal Information team.

This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Strong project management skills, by coordinating various projects and tasks.
  • Ability to interpret data and evaluate new methods to deliver best practise and efficiencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including building relationships and written communication.
  • Ability to lead change management processes and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in the application of project management frameworks and methodology (mandatory).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in Online Communications, Digital Strategy, Digital Communications, Information Technology, Communications or related field (mandatory).
  • Experience in managing the development of websites that comply with Australian government standards and relevant legislative requirements including an in-depth knowledge of WCAG.2.1 (mandatory).
