  • Full time fixed term position up to 12 months
  • Salary range: $104,925 - $122,409 plus superannuation
  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging, flexible hybrid work arrangement

 

About the role

The Training lead is responsible for designing, coordinating and embedding training and capability solutions to support the successful implementation of digital products at Victoria Legal Aid (VLA). The role will work closely with the business to deliver training and provide post-training support for staff using new products.


This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering systems-based learning programs, ideally in a legal practice environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the use of plain language and writing for a legal audience.
  • Highly developed skills in building and sustaining relationships with a network of key internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to work collaboratively within and across teams.
  • Extensive knowledge, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of a legal service environment.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft office suite, as well as other web-based and other online tools for training and resource development.
  • Certification/qualification in formal change management (highly desirable).
  • A knowledge of the general business of VLA and a commitment to our vision and values.
