Position Details
- Maximum term position up to 13 months (part-time applications considered)
- Salary range: $87,664 - $98,901 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
- Flexible location: Morwell or Bairnsdale
About the role
We are seeking for an Administrative Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Gippsland offices and support the Regional Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of administrative staff and make sure everything runs smoothly in line with Victoria Legal Aid's standards.
You will help manage office resources, coordinate tasks, and ensure legal services are delivered efficiently across the region. Regular travel around Gippsland will be required to support office functions and maintain consistent service delivery.
This role can be based in either our Morwell or Bairnsdale office on Gunaikurnai Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing clear direction and supporting staff development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a busy office environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, legal professionals, and external stakeholders, and to liaise with the community.
- Practical experience managing office tasks, budgets, and resources, ideally in a legal or similar environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region to support office functions, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs is key.
