Position Details

  • VPSG4 range $79,955 - $90,716 p.a. + super + leave loading
  • Full time, Ongoing
  • Working within Eastern Region Business Services, located at the Knox Police Complex*


About the role:As the successful applicant, you will be required to manage the day to day operations of the Regional Business Services Office.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Managing a team of seven staff
  • Management and co-ordination of Business Services including, Financial services,  Procurement and Contract Management and Human Resource Management.
  • Delivery of quality Business Support Services that is compliant with relevant standards.
  • Preparation of reports that analyse and assess issues and provide recommendations that improve the business, policies and procedures.


Skills and experience:

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to supervise, train and motivate administration staff and work successfully within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction, and constructively manage stakeholder issues to ensure positive outcomes.


*Your usual place of work will be within Eastern Region, Knox Business Services, 420 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South, however you may be required to work at any other location within Eastern Region Business Services as required.
