Position Details


  • VPSG2 range $50,828 - $65,272 p.a. + super + leave loading
  • Full time, Fixed Term up to 13 October 2019
  • Working within Eastern Region Business Services, located at the Morwell Police Complex*


About the role:

As the successful applicant, you will undertake a range of administrative support functions within the Morwell Business Services Centre.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Maintenance and management of various records and registers.
  • Perform keyboard activities as required, including word processing, typing and data entry.
  • Attend to telephone enquiries from sworn and unsworn employees, members of the public and other Government agencies.
  • Undertake a wide range of routine financial, personnel, purchasing and administrative transactions and maintain stores equipment within Morwell Business Service Centre.


Skills and experience:

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Well-developed keyboard skills, particularly in relation to word processing and data entry.
  • Ability to maintain systematic and accurate financial, payroll or administrative records in a confidential environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and capacity to prioritise work and operate with minimal supervision.


* Your usual place of work will be within Eastern Region, Morwell Business Services, 8-10 Hazelwood Road, Morwell, however you may be required to work at any other location within Eastern Region Business Services as required.
