Position Details
Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Service Enhancement, the Contract and Vendor Manager supports the ICT Service Manager by leading the delivery of IT contracts.
About you:
The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to demonstrate expert knowledge of contemporary IT procurement practices and contract management of ICT projects and contracts in accordance with JV and Victorian Government procurement process and
- Ability to apply expert written and verbal communication skills to ensure the submissions and reports to Senior Management at JV and external stakeholders are succinct with clarity and high quality
- Ability to develop strategic relationships, negotiate with and influence key internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, review, develop, and recommend improvements to procedures/processes and plans to improve quality and timely delivery of services within IM&T and to its stakeholders
- Able to apply advanced problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills to analyse and implement improvements to Service Provider performance issues
- Ability to manage multiple objectives, projects, or activities on time and within budget using effective judgement in prioritisation and planning whilst working effectively within a team environment
