The Efficient Movement of Freight and Goods team is part of the Information Access (IA) business area amongst the broader Information Management & Technology (IM&T) division.

The Efficient Movement of Freight and Goods work group is a dynamic and innovative team. We work with heavy vehicle related business areas within the organization and external parties. We enable businesses with heavy vehicle network location management, visualisation, business solutions, online mapping and analytics. Some of the solutions that we manage within group include; Heavy Vehicle Maps, Heavy Vehicle Consent Portal, On road sensors real time data collection and Intelligent Access Program etc

This is a 12-month fixed term Spatial Systems Officer opportunity to deliver a program of work for our customers, with a high possibility of turning into a permanent ongoing role. We need an experienced spatial officer who is willing to take on new challenges and provide diverse spatial services and products to multiple customers within a complex organisation and insights program. You will be involved in the mobile, desktop and server solutions for a variety of business areas.

You are an experienced spatial officer who is comfortable working in volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environments. You have a can-do attitude and growth mindset and are driven to drive joint outcomes. Furthermore, you value and bring diversity of thought and experience to the workgroup. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and a desire to build credible relationships and networks is essential.
