This position sits in the VCAT's Service Transformation team which focuses on delivering enhance digital service, providing easier access to services, developing stronger connections with service partners through technology integrations and digital workflows and building a capable workforce ready for change.

About the role

The role of the Data Analytics Infrastructure Lead is responsible for the identification and implementation of new data-related capabilities within VCAT. The role will develop and implement a capability roadmap that draws on various inputs including VCAT's strategic and operational plans, the service transformation program, through business engagement to support operational challenges of the day, and through capitalising on opportunities with our partners.

The role will also ensure the productive use data related tools by the broader organisation by ensuring they are reliable, meet security requirements, and are well adopted by users.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven ability to understand and design data models supporting analytical reporting
  • Demonstrated experience of working in relational database
  • Strong communications skills, written and oral
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking ability
