Position Details

VCAT are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Member Support Officer to join the Member Support Team.

The Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting Tribunal Members under the direction of the Member Support Coordinator. Working collaboratively in a small team, the successful applicant will deliver administrative support to Tribunal Members to facilitate the effective functioning of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Member Support Officers produce Tribunal orders and Reasons and provide all administrative and secretarial support required for their allocated Members.

What you need to have:

  • Experience in a legal administrative or secretarial environment;
  • Motivation to expand on your current administrative skills and experience;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to multiple stakeholders and meeting deadlines;
  • Excellent written skills, including proof-reading and formatting of legal documents; and
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly grasp new databases and systems.
