About the role

The Senior Test Lead sits within the Technology Programs and Products Branch and is the domain lead for all aspects associated with application testing. The Senior Test Lead is responsible for defining the strategy for the different verticals of testing: Dynamics, digital, automation and functional testing. Working with team members, they are responsible for resource planning and the management, and execution of testing to assure the quality of deliverables for business stakeholders.

About You

As our ideal applicant, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills: 

• Resource allocation – The Senior Test Lead effectively collaborated with the BA and Test Resource Manager on the allocation of resources to projects and ensured resources followed the project delivery framework standards set by the Transport Program Management Office.

• Test Preparation – Test environments have been established and test data has been well prepared.

• Test Lifecycle – The Senior Test Lead has ensured that resources completed test artefacts such as test plans appropriate to the testing vertical, kept the business abreast of test progress and test results agreed with business representative prior to implementation.

• Stakeholder Management –effectively collaborated with testers, business stakeholders, vendors and other third parties to ensure satisfactory completion of system, integration, and acceptance testing. Test automation has beenapplied as agreed with stakeholders.

• Effective People Leadership – The incumbent has provided effective leadership, people management and support to their team. Staff are engaged with high levels of cohesion and commitment and are delivering on the services required.
