About Us

The Department of Justice and Regulation is responsible for the statutory supervision of young people in the criminal justice system. Youth justice custodial centres accommodate young people aged 10 - 18 years who have been remanded or sentenced by the Criminal Division of the Children's Court, and some 18 - 21 year olds sentenced by Adult Courts to a youth justice custodial centre. Youth Justice Custodial Services aims to engage young people in change by addressing their offending behaviour and equipping them with the skills required for positive community participation, within a safe and secure environment.

About the Role

The Business Services Unit is responsible for the provision of Administrative Services, Ancillary Services and Rostering across both the Parkville and Malmsbury Youth Justice Precincts. As the Ancillary Services Team Leader, you will lead a team who are responsible for the management of all stores operations at the Parkville precinct; providing excellent leadership and supervision to the team. You will manage various contracts across Youth Justice Custodial Services, ensuring that best practice procurement processes are followed. In addition, you will manage, monitor and review contract delivery to ensure that planned outcomes of contracts are delivered on time, to specified standards and within budget.

Experience in store and asset management is desirable.
