I understand that the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (the department) has pre-employment safety screening checks that are a mandatory aspect of the department's student placement, recruitment and selection processes.
I understand that all student placements at the department require a national police check and I may be required to undergo a departmental initiated check.
I understand that an international police check clearance may be required if I have lived overseas for 12 months or more in the last 10 years, and I maybe required to obtain and supply a clearance or provide equivalent documentation to the department.
I understand that some student placements have additional specific mandatory qualification and requirements for particular checks and I am required to obtain and supply copies of the appropriate documentation to the department.
