About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a Grade 3 Social Worker - Clinical Lead, who demonstrates high level open and effective communication, can lead and promote effective teamwork, deliver high quality person centred interprofessional care, and exhibits ethical and professional responsibility. The Grade 3 Clinical Lead will have the opportunity to provide Social Work services across a range of clinical settings including acute wards and subacute wards.
South West Healthcare's Social Work and Counselling Department provides a range of evidence based, client centred, specialist Social Work services across the care continuum, from admission to hospital through to discharge in the community. These services work across the spectrum of life, from neonates to the elderly and work with both admitted and non-admitted clients.
Position overview
- Part-time (32 hours per week), On-going position
- Warrnambool Campus
- Social Worker Grade 3
- Salary Range: $102,091.60 - $116,646.40 pro rata , plus superannuation and applicable penalties and allowances.
What you bring
This role is suited to an experienced healthcare Social Worker who can provide professional supervision and clinical leadership to Grade 1 Social Workers, Grade 2 Social Workers as well as Social Work students. The Grade 3 Social Worker will demonstrate confidence in representing Social Work and will lead collaborative practice in multi-disciplinary teams, meetings and committees.
