- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
About the role
We are looking for a people leader to head our Cyber Security and Resilience initiative as part of our Cyber Resilience Strategy. In this role, you will not only establish and improve VLA's cyber security capabilities but also foster a culture of cyber security awareness across our organization, ensuring that every team member is informed and empowered to protect our vital data.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly convey complex cyber security concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels, with the ability to influence decision-making and resolve conflicts effectively.
- A track record in delivering complex cyber security initiatives, particularly in the legal, justice, or social services sectors, utilizing relevant frameworks (Essential Eight, ISO27001, ISO27032, NIST).
- Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
- Experience in cyber security management in a similar role (mandatory).
