About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a motivated highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide day to day leadership and management of the Rehabilitation Unit team in the position of Associate Nurse Unit Manager. Working cohesively alongside other various clinical services to help patients in our 26 bed unit recover and provide positive outcomes for them and their families in a safe and caring environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to support in leading a team whilst maintaining a positive and professional working environment and delivering high quality care to patients and their families. This role will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager in the promotion and maintenance of clinical standards, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, strategic and effective cost management, supervision of staff and contribute to the overall management of the unit.
Position overview
- Part-time (48 hours per fortnight), On-going position
- Warrnambool Campus
- Associate Nurse Unit Manager Year 1 or Year 2
- Salary Range: $106,834.00 - $110,432.40 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
- The successful applicant will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and will have relevant experience and completed post graduate qualifications.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical assessment skills, along with the ability to perform and communicate on all levels.
- Evidence of commitment to professional development of self and others is desirable.
