About the role:
The Senior Program Adviser is part of a small team that monitors health service performance in Victoria's Hume. The role coordinates and leads responses to new and emerging issues and risks relating to rural and regional health services. Demonstrated competency in monitoring financial, quality and governance issues, well developed analytical and conceptual skills, relationship management and the ability to manage tight deadlines are critical to the role.
The role also involves developing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including health service Chief Executive Officers, health service executives and a range of program and policy areas within the department. The position specialises in Quality, Safety and Performance across health services. The role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment that requires systems thinking, excellent communication skills and a drive to improve healthcare for metropolitan, rural and regional communities.

Qualifications and Specialist Expertise
Qualifications - A qualification in business, finance, accounting, project management and or working in government would be advantageous but not required.
Specialist Expertise - Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in managing and supporting ministerial, cabinet, parliamentary and departmental executive functions and processes would be advantageous but not required.
