  • Salary range: $62,123 - $76,425 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging
  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model

About the role
Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Broadmeadows. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to our lawyers and clients as part of a small team of Legal Assistants. You will be responsible for clerking duties three times a week, reception tasks, and general office support, including managing appointments, updating client records, and processing paperwork.

You'll also play an important role in assisting clients by answering questions, providing information about legal services, and connecting them with the right support. Your work will help ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role is based at our Broadmeadows office on Wurundjeri Country.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
  • Great communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work with people from different backgrounds, including vulnerable or disadvantaged clients.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
