About the Role:
As a Catering Services Assistant, you will:
- Plate, present, and distribute meals with care
- Provide patients with water/fluid jugs
- Transport food trolleys efficiently
- Stock ward areas with food service supplies
- Wash and clean equipment related to food and beverage distribution
- Serve in our onsite cafés
Position Overview:
- Fixed Term, Part-Time position (36 hours per fortnight) until June 2025
- Permanent hours available (16 hours per fortnight)
- Rotating roster, including weekends
- Core shifts between 6:30 am and 7:15 pm
- Warrnambool Campus
- Salary Classification: Domestic Assistant Grade 2
What You Bring:
- The successful applicants must be able to work as part of an effective team, have excellent verbal communication and time management skills.
- It would be advantageous but not essential to have customer service experience in a café environment or similar, and some formal Barista training or qualification.
- Holding a certificate HLTFS207C ‘Follow basic food safety practices or equivalent would be beneficial, but not compulsory for this position.
