About the role:
Working collaboratively with other Case Management Leaders, you will lead and supervise a team of case managers and provide support and advice as an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner to achieve best practice service delivery to clients, within our Family Dispute Resolution Service (FDRS).
The case management team focuses on the assessment, preparation and referral stages of lawyer assisted family dispute resolution. Case Management Leaders also have opportunities to chair FDRS conferences, to ensure that the case management process continues to be responsive to client need.
About you:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large volume, high quality case management services within a legal aid environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a capacity to supervise and mentor staff, and thoughtfully identify and respond to issues for continuous service improvement.
- Extensive family law sector knowledge including sound understanding of family law and practice, family dispute resolution processes and relevant social science principles.
- Sound understanding of issues affecting separated families from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
- An Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner is mandatory for this position.
