At the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC), we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
As we journey through transformation here at WIC, we need you to join us as a Change and Communications Manager. In this role, you will support the delivery of WIC's transformative program, Program Elevate. The Program comprises four interdependent projects - service model redesign, case management system replacement, a business classification scheme and an operating model.
Harnessing your expertise, you will work closely with the program team to manage the change and communications requirements, through the effective application of change management principles, you will minimise risks and enable the organisation to understand and adapt to the program's objectives. This includes working closely with the Organisational Change Manager to coach and support People Leaders in implementing change within their teams, while also providing direct support and coaching to employees as they transition through change.
Leveraging your experience in a similar role, you will develop and implement change management and communication plans that are tailored to different business units, with the aim of maximising employee engagement and understanding.
Who we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Organisational Change Management, Business, Psychology, Human Resource Management or similar.
- Broad experience managing major organisational change within a complex environment.
- Deep understanding of change methodologies, frameworks, tools and techniques and their application to large scale programs of work.
- Recent experience working on a system implementation project with multiple interdependencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts to diverse audiences.
