Additionally, with your comprehensive knowledge within the Victorian WorkCover scheme, you will contribute support to WIC's Conciliation service, including conciliation cases, based on operational needs and where your capacity allows.
Who we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in law, dispute resolution or business management and extensive experience in conciliation, arbitration or alternative dispute resolution
- Experience leading or conducting hearings and determining disputes in a fair, impartial and professional way
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience working within the Victorian WorkCover scheme or similar scheme
- Demonstrated ability to write and publish technical or legislatively based decisions that are subject to judicial review
- Experience working within a complex legislative framework
- Ability to work with key internal stakeholders including the Arbitration Practice Group Manager, Arbitration Officers, Hearing Support Officers and other WIC employees to assist in the achievement of team-based goals
