About the Role
As an Oracle Applications Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Oracle E-Business Suite and other business-critical applications. You will diagnose and resolve incidents, manage service requests, and collaborate with business users to ensure seamless application functionality.
This role is central to maintaining service continuity, providing technical expertise, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic business environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite and related business applications
- Investigate and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs
- Manage change requests, ensuring all modifications follow established processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement workarounds and long-term solutions
- Maintain documentation and knowledge bases to support continuous service improvement
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in Oracle E-Business Suite – Payables, Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order Management, and Financials
- Proficiency in SQL scripting, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Broad experience in IT service management (incident, problem, and change management)
- Application support and development experience, including coding standards, test plans, and data analysis
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong customer service acumen and experience working in a support environment
- Experience supporting Salesforce applications (desirable)
