VPS 4 - Project Officer and Case Manager, Support Services, Redress Delivery and Design
The Support Services team of the Fiskville Redress Scheme sits within the Redress, Delivery and Design unit in the Police, Racing, Victims and Coordination group. The Project Officer and Case Manager perform a key role in this high performing and fast-paced team, to deliver support and outcomes to applicants of the Fiskville Redress Scheme. The role provides support to deliver operational administrative activities and ensure participant outcomes are processed with a participant centric focus, and provides high-level administrative support for the delivery of the scheme within a dynamic working environment.
Overview of key accountabilities:
- Provide first line phone support to all participants of the schemes including managing and processing the schemes' in-box, participant applications and responding to written enquires.
- Supports the work area to update and maintain the schemes' data including managing participant access to counselling, therapeutic and/or medical providers.
- With guidance, effectively manage a caseload of participants who have experienced trauma, mental health and/or ill health concerns and provide end-to-end support, within defined timelines.
- With guidance, work directly with participants, ensure applications are complete, obtain further information where necessary and appropriate, and provide ongoing liaison and support.
- Development and implementation of key intake and service allocation processes in line with the schemes' key parameters and guidelines.
- Responsible for project administration and data collection, preparing progress reports that contributes to practice enhancements.
- Effectively uses business technology, systems, procedures, and financial and political nous, to achieve the best outcome(s) for participants.
- Work flexibly across the Redress Design and Delivery business unit to contribute to projects that improve business processes and systems.
