Job Description
About the role
South West Healthcare's (SWH) Ngootyoong Prevention and Recovery Centre (Ngootyoong PARC) is seeking a permanent part-time Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (Grade 3) with medication endorsement. In this role, you will apply your clinical knowledge and expertise to assess and deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions to consumers with complex mental health needs, as well as support their families and carers. This position requires you to work on a rotating 7-day roster, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Ngootyoong PARC offers recovery oriented treatment for people with, or at risk of developing, serious mental illness in a home-like setting. PARC is a supported recovery orientated mental health residential facility which provides an option for people who are becoming unwell or who are in the early stages of their recovery and would benefit from short term (up to 28 days) or medium- term (less than 6 month) intensive treatment to strengthen their biological, psychological and social well-being. Two day program places are also offered.
Position Overview:

- Salary Range: $75,826.40 - $80,880.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
- Proven experience in providing a wide range of mental health care and services in either inpatient or community settings.
- Ability to work effectively within a highly skilled, collaborative team of professionals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and contemporary practices in mental health care.
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement.
- Enrolled Nurses with extensive experience in other complex care environments are encouraged to apply.
