About the Opportunity
The CRM Systems Lead is the library's champion for our customer relationship management platform, Salesforce. You are an integral part of the Systems Information Team, and you work and collaborate with many departments within the library. You have a particular focus on CRM architecture, design, planning and ongoing development and contribute to building a data driven culture.
On a day-to-day basis, the CRM Systems Lead works closely with the business and is responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders and ensure alignment between our data, business strategies, enterprise transformation activities and technology directions as well as being pivotal in complying with policies, standards and best practices.
The CRM Specialist is accountable for the following measurable outcomes:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce.com platform to ensure best practice and optimal user experiences.
- Working collaboratively with business subject matter experts to analyse their needs, determine requirements and communicate time estimates with stakeholders to ensure expectations and information needs are met.
- Acting in a consultative capacity to provide customised solutions that are scalable and forward thinking to meet operational requirements and continuous improvement.
- Training internal users to operate our Salesforce instance and implement improvements, ensuring optimal user capacity across key stakeholders.
- Conducting analysis of system and business processes and using diagramming tools such as Visio to represent business and technical processes for the purpose of conveying technical information to inform business decisions.
- Building and strengthening relationships with third party providers (such as Salesforce partner) by coordinating and conveying the Library's needs in order to jointly deliver solutions for internal stakeholder's user needs.
About You
The successful candidate is an experienced tech professional who brings up to date certifications and strong proficiency in Salesforce. With a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, you are proficient in translating business requirements into possible technical solutions.
In addition, you will come to us with:
- A recognised bachelor's degree in data science, data engineering, data analytics, computer science, information technology or equivalent professional experience.
- A relevant Salesforce certification
- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure data services or AWS data services.
- Experience in migrating data from a wide variety of sources, into a cloud data warehouse solution.
- Experience in working with data wrangling, data development, dimensional and relational data models and design thinking.
- A strong track record of successfully building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A solid track record in working with third party technical vendors, including being able to convey technical data to non-technical users in a manner that is user
- Demonstrated experience in working with Microsoft Power BI and data visualisation.
- Experience ingesting data from various sources, including databases, APIs, streaming data feeds, and other cloud platforms. Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and APIs for document processing and language translation is desirable.
- Experience with Big Query is desirable.
- Azure Data Engineer Associate or AWS certification (desirable).
