At the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC), we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
As we continue on an exciting chapter of growth, our People and Culture team are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join us and support the Talent Partner in the delivery of end-end to recruitment, including ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Equipped with excellent coordination experience, you will provide essential administrative support including candidate management within our applicant tracking system (ATS), monitoring and responding to emails in our careers inbox, shortlisting and screening applications, and coordinating interviews, amongst other recruitment related activity.
With your genuine passion for working with people and building relationships, you'll be part of our collaborative People & Culture team that play a key role within the organisation, contributing your expertise on various people related projects, ensuring inclusive hiring practices and supporting the delivery of the People Pillar of WIC's Strategic Plan.
Who we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, along with your flair for coordination and thinking outside the box you will have:
- Strong team collaboration experience - Work closely with the Talent Partner to implement recruitment strategies and ensure that recruitment processes are aligned with organisational objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain clear and professional communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience working with an ATS. Previous exposure to the Springboard platform or similar would be advantageous.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing recruitment documentation, managing data, and scheduling activities
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination, administrative or support roles, preferably within a government or public sector environment would be desirable
