About the role
This role will deliver high quality case management services within a legal context. This includes providing information, education and referral services to Family Dispute Resolution Service (FDRS) clients, lawyers and other stakeholders.
You will be engaging with clients and preparing them for FDRS services, and you will arrange correspondence, reports and other written documentation as part of provision of case management services. This role will also involve regular participation in FDRS activities.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues, policies and legislation relevant to separating families including family violence, mental health, drug and alcohol addiction.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with people experiencing complex issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A tertiary qualification in law, social science or other relevant discipline.
