About the role:
The Project Support Officer provides high-level project and administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the day-to-day operations of the Gambling Harm Prevention and Response unit. The role includes confidential secretarial and administrative functions and provides a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government, private, public and community service sectors.
The Project Support Officer undertakes a broad range of tasks including diary, email and meeting management, preparation of written correspondence, maintaining accounts and budgets, and assisting with projects as required. The role works in close collaboration with other project and administrative support staff (including Executive Assistants) in the Prevention, Policy and First Peoples branch.

To be successful in this role, you will need a demonstrated background in providing project support in a busy work environment. You will possess experience and expertise in operating departmental systems, demonstrate a capacity for sustained effort and hard work and set high performance standards for yourself and others.
