At the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC), we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
As we continue a chapter of growth, we need you to join us as an IT Enterprise Systems Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the development and implementation of IT platforms, products and services that enable the realisation of value from technology assets.
You are a collaborative, value-driven individual who deeply understands complex technical environments and technology available required to achieve business outcomes.
Harnessing your strong knowledge of IT platforms, products and services along with your demonstrated experience leading implementation and management of IT enterprise system initiatives, you will be the bridge between business and technology. You will be able to translate business requirements to technical tasks and will ensure technology exists and is capable to enable business functionality.
Equipped with your highly developed communication skills, some of your key accountabilities will include developing and maintaining current and future state solution architecture and promoting and educating WIC on IT Enterprise system functionality and capabilities to drive business productivity.
Who we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Strong knowledge of IT platforms, products and services, application of solutions, and regulatory obligations to support system compliance.
- Understanding of data quality, cybersecurity, and governance management practices and approaches with experience applying them within an organisation.
- Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Azure, 365 platforms and services.
- Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, plan complete concurrent tasks to meet strict timelines that align to objectives, projects, initiatives and key pieces of work.
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise, influence, consult with employees, project teams, service partners, stakeholders and senior external associates.
- Degree in the field of Information Technology and or demonstrated experience within the field backed by industry accreditation and development.
