About the role: 

The Senior Project Officer, Clinical Advisory Planning, will provide support and expert advice for Clinical Advisory Planning. This team offers accurate advice in the delivery of health infrastructure and the clinical drivers of capital planning. The role sits within the Department of Health and provides guidance to the health delivery agency (Victorian Health Building Authority). The position will coordinate and develop key inputs into the clinical requirements needed for capital infrastructure, support communications with key stakeholders in capital infrastructure projects, and assist in the development of clinical infrastructure planning guidelines and policy and contribute to health infrastructure investment decisions to improve equity, model of care delivery, and enhance the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of health care services.

About you:

• A high performing individual with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Have current knowledge of the health system and hospital environments.
• Possess experience related to health, clinical delivery, health infrastructure, capital planning, project management, health planning or health administration
• Proficient in project management and/or health infrastructure
• Possess Qualification Tertiary (Bachelor or higher) qualification in Health, Design, Project Management or related discipline and/or extensive experience within similar project delivery environments.
