About the role:
The Senior Evaluation Officer (quantitative focus) is integral to supporting and contributing to evaluation projects within the Victorian Government (Department of Health and Department of Families, Fairness and Housing), ensuring the delivery of timely and high-quality outcomes. In this role, you will actively participate in the design and execution of evaluations, utilising fit for purpose quantitative methodologies to develop actionable recommendations that align with government priorities and budgetary constraints.

About you:
- Experiences in delivering complex analyses to drive actionable insights and capable of designing and executing comprehensive evaluations
- Possess quantitative analysis experience to provide practical recommendations based on diverse methodologies
- Tertiary qualified in quantitative analysis, statistics, public health, evaluation, epidemiology, health and social sciences, public policy, economics, or another discipline with a strong statistical component
- Demonstrateble experience and expertise in program or policy evaluation, particularly quasi-experimental and micro-econometric methods like difference-in-difference, instrumental variables etc
