About the business unit:

H.M. Prison Langi Kal Kal is a minimum-security men's protection prison located 140km west of Melbourne at Trawalla. The prison's primary purpose is to prepare male prisoners for transition, reintegration, and release. As a working farm with eight separate industries, there is a strong focus on employment, training, and work readiness.

About this role:

• The Justice Officer - Finance provides a range of financial corporate support services, including payable transactions ensuring compliance with requirements and timelines.
• This role will ensure electronic and paper-based record keeping systems are up to date and accurate. This may include discharge float; banking, accounts payable and prisoner finance (SPEND).
• The successful candidate will have well-developed computer literacy, knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines and regulations and will have experience in a range of finance related tasks.
• The role is for up to 6 months.

EOIs must be submitted by 11.59pm on Tuesday 15th July 2025 to be considered for this role.
