- Salary range: $127,334 - $150,485 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
About the role
This is an exciting role responsible for managing initiatives and strategic projects to improve the quality, timeliness and accessibility of child protection legal services, and contribute to other priority program and policy work of VLA's Child Protection program as required.
This role is supported by a small team and works closely with the Associate Directors of Children's Law, lawyers delivering child protection legal services, and other internal and external stakeholders.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Experience managing projects and initiatives related to child protection or related legal areas such as family violence or youth justice.
- Demonstrated people management and leadership capabilities including proven experience in successfully developing, managing and motivating a project team.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise and convey complex information and ideas in a clear, logical and concise manner and target written work to a range of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand data to inform effective project design and evaluate impact.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to use those skills to influence, negotiate and build collaborative working relationships with people across all levels to achieve strategic program outcomes.
