  • Salary $138,631 - $162,076 plus 12% superannuation – VPS Grade 6.1
  • Based in Melbourne CBD or Ballarat

The opportunity

The HR Services Manager is an ongoing role that leads the innovation, development and provision of employment services within the State Revenue Office (SRO), including generalist HR lifecycle and employment services, advice and support to SRO employees, and management with a focus on responsiveness, service, and efficiency.

Reporting to the HR Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of employment life cycle services
  • Innovation and continuous improvement of service and systems
  • Managing a team of seven HR professionals
  • Design and implementation of a new customer support model
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and support

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong experience as a functional leader of HR services
  • Extensive experience managing HR systems and process
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Strong project development and implementation skills
  • Strong policy development and written communication skills
