Position Details
THE ROLE
The Manager, Family Law Program is part of Commonwealth Operations in Statewide Children and Families Operations. The role has a state-wide responsibility to lead the Child Protection interface between the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCoA) and the department.
The Manager, Family Law Program works with Child Protection and Family Law Program staff to develop appropriate responses to concerns for the safety and well-being of children in the context of family law proceedings, in particular matters with child welfare and family violence concerns.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Family Law Program and the staff of that program.
- Provide authoritative, strategic advice and professional expertise to key internal and external stakeholders on critical family law and child protection practice, policy, funding and program development.
- Provide high-level expertise to Family Law Program service delivery teams with practice consistency and quality assurance and facilitate access to appropriate specialist expertise.
