At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
As we continue an exciting chapter of growth, we need you to join us as a Document Writer.
Harnessing your strength in collaboration and relationship building, you will work proactively with Project Sponsors, Business Leads and other internal stakeholders. This will include facilitating workshops with subject matter experts to plan, develop and gain approval on service artefacts.
Utilising your professional content writing, proofreading and editing skills, you will produce accurate, clear and consistent content for a wide variety of audiences across several communication channels, ensuring it is presented in a format that is inclusive, accessible and easy to navigate for the intended audience, including the users of the service i.e. injured workers.
Who we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role - particularly leading workplace document development, review, and delivery.
- Demonstrable experience in leading and organising a team of subject matter experts in the planning, development (i.e. facilitating workshops) and approval of service artefacts such as Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, Fact Sheets, Client Correspondence, etc.
- Previous experience in applying the Australian Government Style Manual in the development of service artefacts, ensuring content is accessible and inclusive.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and synthesise information from a range of sources into plain language guidance that meets the needs of varied audiences, including service users (ie. Injured workers).
- Demonstrated expert level written and verbal communication and liaison skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with employees and project teams.
