- Build and manage a portfolio of major donors and philanthropic partners, driving engagement and securing significant philanthropic support.
- Support the implementation of Museums Victoria's bequest strategy, including identifying, cultivating, and stewarding prospective and confirmed legacy donors.
- Develop personalised cultivation and stewardship plans to foster long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Coordinate the development of impactful funding proposals and partnership pitches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align donor interests with Museums Victoria's priorities and ensure outstanding project delivery.
- Support the planning and execution of high-level donor events, meetings, and site visits.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of donor interactions and bequest activity in CRM systems.
ABOUT YOU:
You're a skilled relationship-builder with:
- Proven success in philanthropic fundraising, including major gifts and preferably experience or interest in bequest fundraising.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset, with a knack for identifying opportunities and delivering creative solutions.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for arts, culture, and community impact.
- Other relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or a related discipline are also encouraged to apply.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- This is a VPS5.1 Full-time position. 0.8FTE will be considered.
