About the Opportunity
The Marketing Campaign Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering creative, integrated marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives. The role reinforces brand positioning, deepens audience relationships and drives visitation onsite and online.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role actively contributes to audience journey planning, devising targeted tactical marketing activity to increase audience acquisition, engagement and retention. The Marketing Campaign Specialist makes recommendations on brand, campaign strategy, and promotional activity for the Library's various projects, programs and exhibitions. Importantly, the role also builds industry and cross-sector relationships to leverage marketing efforts and build the Library's brand profile.
The Marketing Campaign Specialist is accountable for the following measurable outcomes:
- Creation of integrated marketing plans and campaign implementation
- Driving audience growth and deepening audience relationships (both online and onsite)
- Ensuring consistency of brand and building profile across the Library
- Managing stakeholder engagement with internal creative teams, media agencies and external suppliers
- Continuous evaluation and improvement of tactics and strategies aligned to audience behaviours and marketing outcomes.
About You
You will bring marketing campaigns experience, from conception through to reporting and delivering learnings. As an adept stakeholder manager, you not only know how to manage diverse opinions but are also skilled in building relationships as part of the way you operate. Ideally, you will bring strong skills across a range of digital marketing channels, including email, social and digital display. As someone who enjoys the thrum of engaging with multiple campaigns concurrently, you use Google analytics and other data sources to test where your creativity is most effective.
To be successful in this role working on brand campaigns, exhibitions and digital products and services, you will come to us with:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering end-to-end campaigns across paid/earned/owned channels from brief and concept through to evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies and campaigns, with documented results in audience growth and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience utilising evaluation metrics and insights to inform marketing plans and campaigns, including audience behaviours and marketing outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in brand and building profile, preferably in a cultural or government institution.
- A proven track record of success in establishing and maintaining outstanding relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
