Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

VCAT
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.
About the Role
The Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Listings Coordinator plays a key role in bringing mediations to life at VCAT. Working closely with the ADR Program Manager, you'll be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and managing all Panel mediations.
Whether it's locking in dates, liaising with mediators, or making sure everything runs smoothly on the day, you'll be the go-to person keeping it all on track.
You will work in a dynamic role that combines organisation, communication, and a touch of problem-solving to help support fair and efficient outcomes. You will be responsible for:
- answering enquiries, identifying and acting on priority and urgent matters and providing information to customers and stakeholders on matters relating ot the scheduling of VCAT mediations
- administrative management of cases during the ADR phase, including pre-ADR contact with parties to discuss readiness and prepration for mediation
- ensuring that mediations are scheduled and managed effectively within VCAT service delivery targets
- daily prepration and entry of ADR listings in the VCAT Law List
- maintaining effective and regular communication with the VCAT Listing Coordinators and Manager Listings to ensure room resoures are maximised across all VCAT venues
The role is fixed term until 10 October 2025
About You
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to apply and interpret legislation together with a sound understanding of Alternate Dispute Resolution as it applies to Victorian jurisdictions. You will also demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills, ensuring you are able to work in a dynamic environment with competing demands.
