About the role
Applications are sought for a Paediatric Registrar position at South West Healthcare, with an immediate commencement and conclusion in February 2026.
This is a fantastic, broad-exposure general paediatric role that offers excellent learning and development opportunities. It is suitable for:
- Advanced Paediatric Trainees
- GP Registrars seeking paediatric experience
- Unaccredited Registrars looking for a rural training term
You will be well supported by a team of four full-time Paediatricians and gain exposure to a wide range of paediatric care, including:
- Caring for children in a 10-bed general paediatric ward and 6-bed special care nursery
- Access to a weekly outpatient clinic with direct supervision from the on-call Paediatrician team
- Experience in developmental, behavioural, and diabetes clinics within a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment
- Collaboration with our dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team, providing valuable support and exposure to integrated care
This position provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your paediatric skills in a rural setting, with strong supervision and a diverse caseload.
