About the role
Family Dispute Resolution Service (FDRS) provides lawyer assisted family dispute resolution to help families resolve disputes for parenting issues, property division, spousal and partner maintenance, adult child maintenance and international child abduction.
This role will support the Administrative Services Manager and act as an entry point for FDRS's services. You will provide specialist advice on FDRS intake, and for working with stakeholders such as lawyers, mediators and child consultants to manage cases as they enter the service, and to support FDRS Administrative Services Officer staff to make appropriate referrals for legal or other support.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated practical experience managing multiple files and tasks and providing tailored solutions/information to suit a client's needs in a high-volume client-facing environment.
- Experience delivering trauma-informed services to clients in a dispute resolution or similar context efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, social science or a related discipline, or progression towards these is desirable.
