About the role:
The Performance Testing Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Client Management System (MHWCMS) through the implementation of a robust performance testing strategy. This role is responsible for driving a cohesive and coordinated approach across all testing phases, ensuring that performance testing activities are aligned with project delivery timelines and quality outcomes.
The analyst will facilitate and oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of performance testing cycles, working collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors. A key focus will be on mitigating regression risks while maintaining system integrity and responsiveness under load. The role also includes managing outsourced testing responsibilities, including those delivered by the MHWCMS supplier and other specialist vendors, to ensure compliance with performance, failover, and usability standards

About you:
Can you demonstrate the following?
- Facilitate, coordinate and support the effective execution of performance testing cycles
- Working on the testing the integrated complex solutions and ensure overall system performance and business continuity capabilities are fit for purpose and aligned with the business processes
- Collaborate with an internal and external testing team and a diverse range of stakeholders, including (but not limited to) internal department quality and cybersecurity teams, and external Victorian Public Health Service testing teams.
- Prepares complex briefs, reports, and documentation using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language.
- Conceptualises and defines the systems working within the organisation to ensure robust performance testing outcomes.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification with a significant ICT component will be highly advantageous to this role
- Certification or formal qualifications in Testing is desirable.
- A Certified Health Informatician Australasia (CHIA) qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
Specialist Expertise
- Minimum of 5 years ICT testing and analysis experience across enterprise full cycle of test phases, preferably in both infrastructure and application delivery projects.
- Proven track record of testing and delivering high-quality software products.
- Experience with the use of appropriate testing techniques, methodologies and tools, including risk, issue and defect management. Experience working in Agile methodology driven projects.
- Experience in the Victorian Public Health Sector is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in delivering solutions with complex privacy and security requirements and working with vendors to ensure these are incorporated into the full testing lifecycle.
