About the role:
The PCMS Functional Support Manager has the responsible for the delivery of application functional support to Patient and Client Management System (PCMS) Health Service clients across Victoria.
The PCMS Functional Support Manager, reporting to the PCMS Applications Manager, manages and develops a team of staff providing expert support, advice, and assistance to Victorian public hospitals utilising the i.Patient Manager application via the PCMS service. This role is responsible for targeting and reporting team KPI, SLA, and OLA goals, mentoring and developing staff, and managing the delivery of application and service faults to appropriate vendors and teams.

About you:
Can you demonstrate the following?
- Preparation of clear updates, briefs, letters, emails etc, to client and stakeholder teams, targeting appropriate understanding and language, to allow the targets to achieve their goals.
- Drafting and executing training sessions, update meetings, etc, to inform all teams, clients and stakeholders (as appropriate) of changes to the PCMS Functional Support “ways of working”.
- Maintain an expert knowledge of key client deliverables such as statutory extracts, billing requirements, legal and regulatory requirements, etc, within the context of the PCMS service.
- Maintaining a continual improvement cycle for PCMS Functional Support workflows across a yearly schedule.
- Aligns team with the organisational values and goals through effective people management and modelling; maximises effectiveness by selecting, developing, managing and motivating a high performing team, clearly defines role expectations, monitors performance, provides timely and constructive feedback and facilitates employee development; ensures staff are effectively deployed through effective workforce planning practices.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in fields related to Information Technology or relevant experience in the Health Information Technology sector.
Specialist Expertise
- A strong understanding of the Victorian Health Sector concepts including statutory reporting, patient administration, and hospital information systems and workflows.
