About the role:
Working with the Product Manager, key divisional executives in the Mental Health and Wellbeing (MHWD) and eHealth divisions, including the Business Sponsor, the Senior Information Officer will play a key role in the defining, documenting, prioritisation and validation of information needs, including the development and distribution of relevant business documentation on collection, change, storage, use and process of gathering and sharing information from and for MHWD data sets, including the Mental Health and Well Being Client Management System (MHWCMS).
This role is involved in managing and overseeing changes to systems and requires strong consultation skills to translate different business needs into system requirements. The Senior Information Officer will provide strategic advice and contribute to the delivery of projects, with responsibility for leading key streams of work related to information management within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division, focusing on the MHWCMS but also across other related mental health data collections. The Senior Information Officer will have responsibility for delivering key pieces of work relating to information sharing within and external to the division and Department, including work required to support mental health and wellbeing service providers to adopt safe and appropriate technologies and to improve consistency of mental health information collection and sharing.
