- VPS Grade 4: $97,955 - $111,142 plus superannuation.
About the Business Unit:
Strategic Communication is the department's centralised communication team and delivers communication services on behalf of the department's business units to inform and educate the community about departmental policies, programs and legislation across the justice and community safety system.
The Portfolio Communications team collaborates with teams across Strategic Communication, program areas and other key stakeholders to design and develop integrated communication campaigns and strategies that align with department and government priorities.
About the Role:
The Adviser will provide advice on communication requirements across a range of projects, develop and implement communication strategies and small campaigns and manage their implementation.
Some of your duties will include:
- Drafting, project managing and implementing communication and content strategies and campaigns including approvals, monitoring and evaluation, working in partnership with other teams within Strategic Communication to coordinate activities
- Provide authoritative communication advice to department business units, regional offices, statutory entities, and executives.
- Write and edit communication materials.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Experience in communication strategy development and implementation, including an ability to write for different audiences across a range of channels
- Project management skills and experience.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in communications or related field is highly desirable
