Salary per hour: $65.30 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnight

Role description
Are you a passionate and experienced nurse leader ready to shape the future of community palliative care in the Mount Alexander region?
Dhelkaya Health is seeking a dedicated Community Palliative Care Program Lead to provide clinical and operational leadership to our growing palliative care team. This newly created senior nursing role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people receiving palliative and end-of-life care.
Reporting to the Community Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred palliative care services in the community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting a team of palliative care nurses
- Managing clinical operations including triage, intake, care planning, and targeted interventions
- Supporting workforce planning, recruitment, and rostering
- Building staff capability through education and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care across services
About you
You are a Registered Nurse with advanced clinical skills in palliative care and a passion for leadership. You bring:
- Proven experience in community or specialist palliative care
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- A commitment to evidence-informed practice and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
