About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced nursing leader to join South West Healthcare as the Renal Services Manager. This pivotal role offers the chance to lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team across the inpatient unit, specialist outpatient clinic, Haemodialysis Unit and Renal Services at Home, driving excellence in patient care and service delivery. Working in partnership with the Clinical Director of Renal Services, you will shape the future of renal care in the region through strategic leadership, innovation, and collaboration across the Local Health Service Network.
Position overview
- Employment Type: Full time (80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO), On-going position
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Nurse Unit Manager
- Salary Range: $131,544.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
- Extensive clinical experience in renal services
- Demonstrated experience collaborating and leading change with clinical teams and leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently displaying sound problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of issues related to service and workforce planning which are responsive to current and future service needs.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage human and financial resources.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation related to healthcare practice.
- Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as required by APRAH.
Desirable
Postgraduate qualifications in nephrology, healthcare management/leadership, or working towards the same.
