About the role
South West Healthcare's Intensive Care Unit is seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to take on a pivotal leadership position as Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM). This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive team and play a key role in shaping the future of critical care in the South West region.
As an ANUM, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to lead and support a highly skilled team in delivering exceptional, patient-centred care across a diverse demographic, from neonates to the elderly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure best practice standards.
- Supporting staff development and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Managing resources effectively to maintain operational excellence.
- Driving quality outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Position overview

- Salary Range: $116,911.60 - $120,848 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
- A Registered Nurse - holding a current Registration Certificate as required by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant postgraduate/tertiary qualification in Intensive Care/Emergency Nursing
- A minimum of five years post graduate nursing experience, with demonstrated excellent clinical assessment skills.
- Demonstrated strong clinical, safety and professional standards within the Emergency environment, including patient centred care.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a role model, effectively solve problems, and provide strong supervision and support to staff.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate orally, electronically and in writing.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development of self and others.

- Relevant postgraduate/tertiary qualifications in Management
